I sure did.
Word on the street is that Outkast might me reuniting next year, making its first performance in seven years at the 2014 Coachella Music Festival.
Outkast has been on indefinite hiatus since 2007, after the release of Idlewild, when Big Boi announced a plan for an entirely solo album and André 3000 returned to rapping.
Since the hiatus began, André 3000 has been working his way back into the rap world. In 2011, he and Beyoncé collaborated for her album 4, and the collab was nominated for the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sun Collaboration. He’s also been featured on tracks by or collaborated with many other artists (including Ke$ha, Ciara, Lil Wayne, Drake, and Chris Brown).
Billboard reports that multiple sources have confirmed that the duo is currently in talks to reunite for the music festival, which starts April 11th next year.
Anyway, enjoy some Outkast classics while everyone awaits anxiously for more news!
